Who would have thought that Isaac M. Singer, the inventor of the Singer sewing machine, was such a handsome man?

All right, I definitely need a framed or mounted print of this for when I get my own house!

Right up there with my favorite inventor (http://www.americaslibrary.gov/jb/gilded/jb_gilded_bell_1_e.html).

Bell was hot, especially as an older man!

I screwed up the quote (it should have been “I need you.”) but all’s fair in love and slash fiction.

Isaac Merritt Singer was hot! Love that belly and chubby hands of his!

And of course, he had a beautiful beard!

First off, the painting is great. The depiction of his clothing is so, well luxurious, as is his beard! I can imagine all those singer machines rumbling away, constantly producing amazing dressing robes and vests for this guy!

I don't know what I'd want more, the man or his tailor. He is working the hell out of that smoking jacket. :)

The painting does convey a great sense of his physical presence and the richness of his clothes.

I just found this lovely t-shirt depicting a proud, fat
centaur (http://www.redbubble.com/people/sarahrulon/t-shirts/3302398-2-the-centaur-dark-tee). The artist has a light-colored version as well, and you can customize the size, fit and color of the shirt.
